Golden Voice
As stated in an article from the Huffington Post, Ted Williams was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He served in the Army for three years and left to join voice-acting school. His life took a terrible turn when he started using and abusing drugs and alcohol. He got kicked out of his house after seven arrests and was forced to live off the streets. He decided that he wanted to turn his life around and started advertising his voice to people on the streets with a sign that said he had a "God given gift of voice." One person ended up video taping him and put a video of him speaking onto the internet. His video went viral and almost overnight he became well-known, got a job, and turned his life around (Sullivan).

His video spread all across the internet so quickly mainly because of YouTube. YouTube easily allows users to take videos and share them in many ways, including sharing them on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Reddit, etc., embedding the video onto other websites, emailing, or just sharing the actual video link. People wanted Ted's story to be heard and YouTube made it easy and quick to do so. So quickly in fact that his video gained over 4 million views within 48 hours of being posted, which led to his quick discovery and job voicing a Kraft commercial.
