About the Website
This website was created for my English 106 class at Purdue University. I created this website to inform people on how the creation of the internet and YouTube has opened opportunities for people to make money or even make a living through YouTube. This website is informative and intended for a general audience who may or may not know extensive information about YouTube.
Throughout this website, I will go over a few of the major ways that people, whether famous or average, collect money from using YouTube. From these, I will give slightly contrasting, real-life examples of each from YouTube. Some of these ways include the YouTube partnership program, taking advantage of advertising and advertisements, and making videos that end up going viral. |
About Me
My name is Mitchell Esposito. I am a Freshman at Purdue University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I grew up in Frankfort Illinois with one sister. I have always enjoyed learning about math and science, but I've made sure to always be involved in something artistic. I'm a singer and trumpeter, and I enjoy making silly movies with my friends every now and then. I often find myself spending hours and hours a day on YouTube, searching through the infinitely growing database of videos including everything politics to gaming to music to home videos. I have greatly enjoyed learning more about some of my favorite YouTube stars and how anyone can make money off YouTube in more ways than just advertisements.
